Blonde Again

It has been a great week so far! I think part of that is because today is my first full day all week and tomorrow is my last full day for two weeks. Monday was Presidents day which my employer recognizes as a paid holiday… no complaints :) I got some decent cleaning around the apartment done and then shopped a little with Ray. Then Tuesday Ray picked me up and brought me to work (and got me a cappuccino… she’s the best) she picked me up at 12:30 and we were off to Southfield! What a fun trip. The weather was perfect and it was just nice to take a road trip… plus all that shopping we got done ;) Then when we got back I got my hair colored… I am blonde again. Woo hoo! My roots were awful!

Today has been a slow day at work but not bad. It is easier to get through the day when you know in two days you will be gone for two weeks… I am getting a little nervous the closer Friday gets though. Tonight I have to get a bunch of stuff done to get ready for not being able to do much of anything. I need to pick up my Knee Walker, move my TV, pack, clean my car, clean what I can of my apartment, go grocery shopping…. Sheesh, I hope surgery is scheduled for later in the day on Friday, then maybe I can get some things done beforehand. Also, because Aaron works Thursday night and I want him to be able to get some sleep. Speaking of which, I am patiently waiting for the hospital to call me and tell me what time my surgery is scheduled for. Oh and I need to get my doctors note that says I am excused from work for 2 weeks… don’t let me forget. 1 and ½ work days left and I am outta here…. Pray for my surgery to go well and pray that I will be in as little pain as possible!
