So it has been a few days since I have blogged. What is the latest… well, the paint is finally on all the walls in Aaron’s house, now we just have to do the trim. Whew! I am so glad that is done. I think that I have been doing too much because my feet have really been hurting lately. Aaron always tells me to take it easy but when I want to get something done its hard for me to sit around. So having the air cast helps my left foot to not be in pain but it tends to cause my right foot to become sore because of the way I walk now. Anyway, it will be nice to take it easy for a while now.
I am super excited about a mini road trip I might be taking later this month before my surgery. I might be riding with a friend to the east side for the day. It will be nice because it is three days before my surgery and I am going to be cooped up for 2 weeks after that. It will be nice to take a long drive and catch up with a friend.
What else… God has been good to me lately. I don’t always realize how much he has and is blessing me but life has been good. I am reading a lot of books that have been recommended to me that are helping too. I think I was in a slump for a while and I am finally getting back to the old positive me. :D I think that the winter does that to me, as I am sure it does to many people, but the days are getting longer and the sun is shining more often and that really helps! I cant wait for the summer to be able to swim in dads pool and go to the beach again. I really hope that I am going to be able to go camping again this summer. I guess we’ll see what God has in mind financially.
After reading “The Strangest Secret” by Earl Nightingale, I have set a new goal for myself. Through the power of the spoken word, serving others, building my own business and working hard at everything, I plan to make an extra $600 per month within the next 6 months. That will cover my rent and allow me to start paying off debts or saving for a special occasion that costs a lot of money… who knows how far down the road that will be but I want to be prepared.
